The Ten

1. Screenshot every code immediately. Codes fit locks rooms away; memory doesn't survive the rag doll's stress.
2. Read "cute" objects as suspects. Bows, tea sets, stuffed toys and family photos hide switches and keys — the horror-looking stuff mostly doesn't.
3. One lock, one logic. A 3-symbol padlock wants three related symbols; if you're guessing randomly, you've missed the room's pattern.
4. Click every surface once per room. Refusals are information — they mean "key needed later", not "dead end".
5. Backtrack after every major find. The loop is deliberately circular; new items re-activate old hotspots.
6. Slow down at shelves and floor edges. Floor-level hotspots are the most-missed clicks in the game.
7. Use sound. Creaks and music stings confirm successful interactions — and hint at the rag doll's position.
8. Watch one full patrol cycle before solving in her territory. Rag doll guide.
9. Note three things per room: what you took, what stayed locked, one odd detail.
10. Don't rush the first key. Leaving a room with one key while shelves are unclicked is how runs stall.

Mistakes That Kill Runs

• Brute-forcing every item on every hotspot (the game has strict one-lock-one-logic design)
• Ignoring failed interactions instead of logging them
• Skipping re-checks after the story darkens — dead objects come alive later
• Panicking after a catch: checkpoint restarts keep your knowledge, so the second attempt is always faster
